Microsorum pteropus ‘Petite’ is a small variation of the Java fern. It is also sold under the label Microsorum “Mini”. Like the species, M. pteropus ‘Narrow’, it has narrow leaves, however, according to information provided by Anubias it stays considerably smaller, with an overall height of only 5-15 cm. Furthermore, the leaves of ‘Petite’ are more wavy than those of the form ‘Narrow’.

This aquatic plant can be attached directly onto aquarium driftwood, aquascaping rocks or any aquarium decoration using thread or glue. Make sure to keep the rhizomes above aquarium substrate or the plant can begin to rot.
