Adult Reed Fish require a minimum tank size of 50 gallons, with plenty of swimming space and hiding spots, such as plants, driftwood, or caves. They prefer soft, slightly acidic water with a pH between 6.5-7.5 and a temperature range between 72-83°F.

Water quality: It is important to maintain good water quality for Reed Fish. Regular partial water changes and a good filtration system are essential to keep the water clean and free of harmful toxins.
