Native to the Orinoco Rivers in South America, you’ll find many species of Tetras, including this one, the Cardinal Tetra. These fish are commonly mistaken as the Neon Tetras and vice-versa. The main difference between the two species, is the Cardinals have a full bottom red, whereas the neon’s only have half.
These bright colored fish enjoys being in groups more than 6 since they are shoaling fish.
