The Sparkling Gouramis, also known as the Pygmy Gouramis, are native to the slow rivers in Southeast Asia. These fish, specifically the males, can get aggressive with each other since they are competitive when it comes to territories. These fish are labyrinth fish meaning they have an organ that allows them to breath air from the surface of the water.
