These extremely peaceful bottom dwelling catfish known as the Pygmy Corydora, are generally located in the waters of Brazil, specifically the Madeira River Basin. Cory’s prefer to have planted aquariums with hiding spots for them to have cover from time to time.
These Corydoras are the smallest amongst all corydoras species, and a lovely addition to nano tanks to larger tanks
We highly recommend using either sand substrate, or small-non sharp gravel due to the fact that they are usually sifting through the substrates.
Corydoras are omnivores and it is recommended that you feed them algae wafers and regular pellet/wafers as well.
